'Mid day' in the Bible

But it befell me, as I was journeying and drawing nigh unto Damascus, that, about mid-day - suddenly - out of heaven, there flashed a great light all around me;

at midday, on the road, I saw, O King, from heaven, above the splendour of the sun, shining around me, a light, and around them who, with me, were journeying;
